Steve Ng, CFA
Steve is a Portfolio Manager and Founder at Woodland Investment Consulting. He began his investment career as a corporate banker structuring financial transactions to private and public companies. Then he worked in senior positions as an Analyst and Investment Consultant at Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, and MFS Investment Management, where he worked closely with investment teams, marketing, and clients. He has accumulated tremendous investment insights in his 30+ years in the financial industry.
Steve is also an educator. He currently teaches experiential learning courses, such as Wealth Management and Investment Strategies, as an Associate Professor of Practice at Clark University. In addition, he is a guest faculty at Harvard University Extension School teaching Active Portfolio Management.
Steve is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Society Boston, CFA Institute, and the Boston Economic Club. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University and MBA at Boston University.
